About Me
I have two first names: Renée Pauline. No, Pauline is not my middle name. So, really, my name is “Renée Pauline Perez.” But that’s way too long and inconvenient, so I’m just “Renée Perez.”
This blog has no theme. I mostly reblog the things that I like, sorta like Pinterest. Only with more words.
I’m a high school senior currently stuck between Tulane University and University of Miami. I hope to work in public relations for nonprofits after college, but before that I hope to join the Peace Corps for two years!
I have a wonderful boyfriend.
I like to party, but I also like school. Like, really. I would probably die if my mind weren’t mentally stimulated and I weren’t learning new things constantly. I have to watch the History Channel and Discovery Channel over the summer to prevent a mental meltdown.
Chocolate is the way to my heart.
I love all sorts of music, but my mainstays are probably classic rock (i.e. Queen, AC/DC, Eagles) and acoustic music (well, the acoustic versions of songs!).
GIANTS! Yep.
My favorite flowers are lilies, orchids, and hydrangeas.
In my short life, I have lived in many places. I was born in Manila, the Philippines, but I consider Chicago to be my true home.
I want to travel the world.
I want to become fluent in five languages before I die. So far I have 2.5: English, Filipino, and Spanish. I’m starting on French, and I will continue to learn Spanish. My fifth language will be either Mandarin or Arabic.
I want to make a positive, lasting difference on the world.
